SurfCraft Brewing Co. located in the birthplace of Modern-day surfing in Brookvale have tasted their first major Australian awards success after our Pintail Lager came away with Bronze in the Australian Style Lager (Best Australian-Style Lager) category at the Australian International Beer Awards.
Our Pintail lager finds inspiration from Barry Bennett and Bennett Surfboards. A legendary member of the Brookvale Six, Barry was a behind-the-scenes Australian surfboard industry pioneer from Manly Beach, New South Wales; founder of Bennett Surfboards, the country's oldest board manufacturer, and a longtime Aussie-wide supplier of boardmaking materials.
Celebrating a remarkable 175 years in 2023, Melbourne Royal has been inspiring excellence in agriculture and food production since 1848.
